TAKING FLIGHT was created from my imagination and painted with acrylic paint on a panel. I didn't have a pre-conceived image of the angel and just allowed my moment to moment intuitive impulses to paint her. Nice texture developed when I applied paint with my palette knife. The texture certainly shows through in the reproduction and enhances the image. The original painting was purchased almost immediately by a collector in Japan!
